This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use the Fam Social mobile application, or engage with our Life-as-a-Service (LaaS) mining and staking ecosystems (collectively, the "Services"). We comply with all applicable data protection requirements mandated by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and global privacy standards.

We only collect information necessary to provide, secure, and improve our Services, and to calculate your crypto rewards.

A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Data: Name, email address, username, and password when you register.
• Profile Data: Preferences regarding the brands you choose to follow or request.
• Wallet Data: Public cryptographic wallet addresses required to assign FAM, BETs, and TradeCash rewards to your account.

B. Information Automatically Collected

• Mining & Engagement Data: We track the summarized posts you read and the cycles you complete strictly to calculate and distribute your FAM mining rewards.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to ensure app functionality and prevent fraudulent mining (Sybil attacks).
• Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, and app crash logs for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to power the Fam Social ecosystem. We use it to:

• Create and manage your account and secure digital wallet.
• Calculate, verify, and distribute your FAM and BET token mining rewards.
• Deliver AI-summarized content tailored to the brands you have explicitly chosen to follow.
• Process referrals for our "Scratch & Win" rewards program.
• Detect and prevent fraudulent activities, botting, or abuse of the mining protocol.
• Comply with necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements when interacting with the ORIGEN Exchange.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your data. We only share your information in the following strictly limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with our technology partner, Barteos Global LLC, to facilitate blockchain transactions, secure your wallet, and run the underlying L1 infrastructure. They are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a subpoena, or to comply with a directive from a court of competent jurisdiction.
• Protection of Rights: We may share information to investigate or prevent violations of our Terms of Service, fraud, or threats to the security of our network.

5. Blockchain Transparency

Please note that by utilizing Web3 features (such as staking FAM or trading BETs on the blockchain), certain transaction data, including your public wallet address and transaction amounts, will become part of a public, immutable blockchain ledger. This is inherent to decentralized technology and cannot be altered or deleted by us.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. This includes enterprise-grade encryption for your credentials and secure smart-contract auditing. While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no system is completely impenetrable.

7. Data Retention & Your Rights (Account Deletion)

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. You have the right to:

• Access & Update: View and amend your account information directly within the Fam Social app.
• Request Deletion: Logged-in users can delete their FAM Social app account and app-controlled personal data through the in-app path "Settings > Accounts > Delete Account," which opens an automated deletion confirmation flow. If you cannot access the app, you may still use the web form at https://focsocial.com/core/fam-app-module/legal/account-deletion.php to submit a deletion request.
• Blockchain Limitation: Public wallet addresses, on-chain transactions, and other immutable blockchain records cannot be altered or deleted by us once written to the blockchain.
• Limited Retention: We may retain limited records where required for fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
• Future Accounts: If you create a new FAM Social account later, it will be treated as a new account. Deleted off-chain profile data is not restored automatically, although public blockchain history may remain visible for the same wallet.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 depending on your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where required by app store guidelines, providing an in-app notification.
